With gratitude for our wise, loving and beloved Sirius Black, who helped me write this poem. In grief for all the animals and innumerably more beings murdered, wounded, starved, exploited and traumatized by the ravages of the Israeli state in Palestine and human violence everywhere. And with love for those who adore, protect and care for these beings with their own bodies, hearts, survival sources and lives.
