summoning through a
silence of wild energetics
they anguish for forms they
know griefly and ecstatic
answer to all names and none,
sense in only hope and terror
their will and will not be
spacing out time they
rupture here, there, here again
never different nor the same
outliving their own flowering
warriored in self dying
coming forthward this way then
downing all-wayswardly thereto
now roots unfurling distance
into the soil of the secret that
we all meet the heavens halfway
Hints of possible lines of connection.
Desire builds, as the air
crackles with anticipation.
Charged yearnings.
Branching expressions
of prolonged longing,
barely visible filamentary gestures,
each faint excitation of this desiring field
a contingent and suggestive inking
of the light show yet to come.

but an electrifying yearning
